Tyler 'Unleaded' Jones

Group of my friends making a formation with our parachutes in the sky.

I'm a web developer and database engineer from Michigan, who specializes in manufacturing systems. For fun, I jump out of perfectly good airplanes, ride motorcycles, and collect elements of the periodic table.

Projects

  • The Living Table of Elements
A home for chemical element collectors. Search for elements across multiple science stores. Interact with 3D models of element samples. People can also submit photos of their collections.
  • DSFV - create art from math
Put in a 2D math equation, choose some colors, and make a pretty picture from it. This project started as a desktop application I built when I was in high school calculus class. It won attention from my teacher and the superintendent. It has since been ported to the web, and re-written several times, with notable improvements each time. This latest version was built with Rust and compiled into WASM. The original acronym stands for "Differential Slope Field Viewer".
  • MC IRL
Convert Minecraft block and pixel units into real life measurements.
